Madeira, PortugalFavorite things: Top 3 most beautiful places I have been to. I enjoyed the spectacular scenery (landing into Madeira is absolutely breathtaking), taking a cable car over the city, visiting the Church of our lady of the mount, and going to the CR7 museum.
Dakar, SenegalFavorite things: The safety, the lovely bed and breakfast I stayed at, the view of the city during dusk.
Cape Town, South AfricaFavourite things: Some of my best years were spent here. I enjoyed the splendour that is the University of Cape Town, views from the top of table mountain, visiting Robben Island, Kirstenbosch gardens, attending a concert by the Script, thrill rides at Ratanga Junction, and graduating from UCT.

Seattle, USAFavorite things: Touring downtown, checking out a Tesla, visiting a bavarian village, eating at a Kenyan restaurant, being hosted at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, receiving the OWSD—Elsevier award and giving an acceptance speech.
Washington DC, USAFavorite things: Visiting the spy museum (will definitely go back!), seeing all the monuments, and visiting the White House gardens.
